Marlene Joan Bond
February 21, 1941 — July 26, 2025
Marlene passed away peacefully at Sakura House on July 26th, 2025, at the age of 84. Wife to loving husband George Bond for over 60 years. Loving father of Terry (Jay) and Leanne (Kevin late beloved husband).
Very proud “Grandma” of Andrew (Jenna), Jacqueline (Vince), Catherine, Michelle (Adam), Andrew (Carlee), Matthew (Morgan) and William.
Loving "Great Grandma" of Olive, Weston, Malcolm, Thomas, Charlee and Claire. Beloved brother of Ron Berresford (Anne) and brother-in-law to Barry Bond (Marilyn). She was a cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews, Brian, Susan, Derek, Darin (Carlota), David (Karolyn) & Doug.
Marlene dedicated much of her life to a family shoe business. Marlene was very active in sports including softball, badminton and golf. The family wishes to thank all the wonderful nurses at Woodstock Hospital and Sakura House as well as Dr. Jasmine Gite for all their care and support during Marlene's illness. Marlene was very loved and will be greatly missed. In keeping with her wishes, a visitation and celebration of her life will be held at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), from 12:00 to 1:00 pm with the memorial service taking place at 1:00 pm in the chapel, on Saturday, August 9th, 2025.
