Michael "Dusty" Addley

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of Michael “Dusty” Addley on June 25, 2025, at the age of 45. Born and raised in Innerkip, Ontario, Mike was a proud lifelong resident of the community he called home.

Mike was a loyal, loud, funny, and fiercely opinionated man whose passion for hockey ran deep. Whether he was cheering on his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs, watching his son take to the ice, or supporting his nephew’s games, hockey was more than a pastime — it was part of who he was. Many cherished memories were made watching games side by side with his father, Steve Addley, with whom he shared a close and loving bond.

Mike was a devoted and loving father to his son, Canden “Bo” Nurse-Addley, and a caring son to his father Steve. He held a deep love for his late mother, whose memory remained close to his heart throughout his life. He was also a beloved brother to Susan Berg and brother-in-law to Jason Berg, and a proud uncle to Caitlin and Colin Berg.

Though he lived with muscular dystrophy, Mike faced life with strength, humour, and determination. He never allowed his condition to define him. His spirit, laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be missed more than words can express.

A visitation and service will be held Saturday July 5th at 10:00 and 11:00 respectively at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave Woodstock, ON N4S 8Z4 Canada. In lieu of flowers a donation in Mike’s memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
