Patricia James

Pat James passed away suddenly on October 4, 2025, in her hometown of Woodstock, Ontario. Born on February 22, 1942, Pat lived a life full of joy, love, and generosity, touching the lives of all who knew her.

Pat was a devoted partner to Ted Morris and cherished her role as a loving mother to her children: John James (Nicole), Jason James, Jamie Morris (Angie), and Rob Morris (Janet). Her family was the center of her universe, and she took great pride in being “Gram x 3” to Desiree James (Sydney), Shaelynn James, Josh Morris, Dylan Morris, Teighan Morris (Warren), Kevin Holden, and Darren Holden. Pat will also be lovingly remembered by her brother Dr. Jerry Stevens (Karen), and their children, Chris Stevens (Chanda), Dr. Ben Stevens (Nichelle), and Susie Casero (Jason). Pat will also be deeply missed by her great nieces and nephews, and all of her extended family.

In addition to being a dedicated family woman, Pat was known for her vibrant presence in the local community. She was a proud member of the Navy Club for over 20 years, where she formed lasting friendships. Pat also cherished her weekly meet ups with friends, with whom she played golf in the summer and cards in all the other seasons. She was also an avid knitter, and her beautiful sweaters, hats, blankets and dishcloths, made especially for each recipient, were gifted with batches of love. What Pat loved most is to connect with friends and family. She considered herself so lucky to have such wonderful people around her. In truth, it is all who knew and loved Pat who were the lucky ones.

Pat’s life will be celebrated during a visitation on October 9, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service on October 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Both services will be held at Brock and Visser Funeral Home Burial and Cremation Services Ltd. Woodstock Chapel, located at 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, Ontario. Additionally, friends and family are invited to gather at the Woodstock Navy Club, located at 959 James St, Woodstock, Ontario, starting at 1 pm on October 12, 2025 to share in remembering all that made Pat the amazing person that she was.

Pat had a special place in her heart for children and those struggling with challenges in their lives. In lieu of flowers, donations are very much appreciated to Ronald McDonald House or Von Sakura House.

Pat leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and warmth. She will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, and the unforgettable moments shared with those who were fortunate to have her in their lives. As we say goodbye to Pat, we carry her spirit within us and her memory will remain forever in our hearts.
