Patricia Ann Marie (Hills) Kipfer

November 24, 1961 – June 1, 2025

Patricia Kipfer (Trish) died on her own terms at Woodstock Hospital on June 1st, surrounded by family and friends. She was the loving wife of 12 years to Cecil Kipfer (Kip), and will also be missed by his children Lyn Walsh, Peter Kipfer, Lorraine Marchant, and Lise Kipfer and seven step-grandchildren, as well as her beloved niece Christine Smith and her aunt and godmother Anne Marie Guistini.

She was predeceased by parents, Ronald and Ileen (Perrault) Hills, brother John Hills (1991), sister Catherine Mitton (2025) and nephew John Mitton (2022).

For Trish, friends were of paramount importance. Her special brand of humour and sense of fun will be deeply missed by Cathy Cannon, Colleen Peat, Jackie Thompson, Lee Ann Van Wees, Dee White, Dascha Paylor, Juanita Dorland, Janna Hannenburg, and many others.

Many thanks to Dr Bin Vu, Dr. James MacLean, and the nursing staff in the palliative unit of Woodstock Hospital, especially Erin, for the compassionate care and for ensuring that Trish’s death was as dignified as possible.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Trinity Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave, Woodstock, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11 am with a time of visitation starting at 10 am. In keeping with Patricia’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
