Patricia "Pat" Marie McKay

With sadness, Pat’s family announces her passing, at home, on Saturday May 10, 2025 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Mike McKay, who predeceased her in 2012. Loving mother of Cathy (Dave) Flinsenberg of Woodstock and Brian (Angela) McKay of Palm Coast, Florida. Endlessly proud Grandma of Joshua, Abby, Tyler (Lyndzie) and Austin and Great Grandma of Kinsley and Colton. Pat is predeceased by her beloved granddaughter, Emily (2000) and by her sister, Marilyn Rawlinson.

Pat worked most of her career in banking, but her true passion was her family and second to that, travel. She loved her trips to Florida, walks on the pier, the beach and the sun. She travelled to Hawaii, exploring the islands. When she wasn’t travelling far from home, she loved long drives to the lake, especially Turkey Point where she relived memories of the old days at the cottage. Friendly by nature, Pat made friends everywhere. She was an active part of the community where she lived, enjoying the social opportunities. Pat was extremely proud of her family and they were her greatest joy. She was greatly loved and she will be greatly missed.

Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral home on Thursday May 15 from 5-7pm. Funeral Service will take place on Friday afternoon at 1pm at the funeral home, with interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
