Penelope "Penney" Lee Cole

Penney passed away suddenly at home, surrounded by love, on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the age of 54. Beloved wife and best friend to Mark Cole, sharing 33 years together. Proud and loving mother to daughter Kiana Cole (Matt Cowell). Penney is fondly remembered by her brother, Shawn Jamieson and by her aunts, Muriel Williams (Gord) and Sharon Payne. She was welcomed in Heaven by her parents, Pam and Gerald Saunders and grandparents Leroy and Velma Couch, who all predeceased her.

Penney had a huge heart with endless love. She spent countless hours sending cards and letters to people who had been going through chemotherapy through an organization called “Chemo Angels”. She also had many pen pals that she wrote to on a regular basis. She loved sharing kindness and love with anyone that needed it, and that was evident in the positive posts she shared on Facebook daily.

Friends will be received at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, on Friday, July 11, 2025 from 1-2pm. A memorial service will take place at 2 o’clock in the funeral home chapel, with a reception to follow.  Penney's service will be livestreamed for those unable to join us in person - please see the livestream link below.
