Philip Eden

Philip Eden, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on August 2, 2025, in London, Ontario. He was born on September 27, 1954, in Ingersoll, Ontario, where he cultivated a love for the outdoors that would remain with him throughout his life.

Philip dedicated almost 50 years of marriage to his cherished wife, Barbara Eden. Together, they nurtured a family filled with love, laughter, and shared memories. He is survived by his two devoted sons, Jon (Mel) and Thomas, as well as his treasured grandchildren, Maggie, Maddy, Max, and Ben, who brought immense joy to his life.

An avid lover of fishing, Philip spent countless hours enjoying nature and the great outdoors, where he found peace and happiness. His dedication to community service was exemplified through his many years as a member of Scouts Canada, where he positively impacted the lives of many young people.

Philip will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the unconditional love he showed to all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on August 8, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM and concluding at 7:00 PM at Brock & Visser Funeral Home Burial and Cremation Services Ltd., Woodstock Chapel, located at 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, Ontario, N4S 8Z4.

He is survived by many brothers and sisters, who will hold his memory close to their hearts. Philip Eden will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
