Robert Henry Usher

It is with deep respect and sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Henry Usher, who departed this life on November 3, 2025, at People Care in Tavistock. Born on December 28, 1934, Bob lived a life rich with love, family, and cherished memories.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife, Sheila Usher, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together, they created a home for their children, Deb (Rick) Smith, Jim (Diane) Usher, and Ron (Carol) Usher. He was a proud grandfather to Corey (Shelby), Crystal (Josh Leiskau), and Drew, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life. Additionally, Bob was a loving great-grandfather to Brynley, adding yet another layer of joy to his family legacy.

In addition to his immediate family, Bob is survived by his sister, Rita Green, who shared in many of the beautiful moments throughout their lives. Bob is preceded in death by his siblings Tony, Dorothy, Bruce, Eve and Louella. Bob is predeceased by his parents Henry and Nettie Usher.

The memories of Bob will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him. His kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by his family and friends. As we honor his life, we celebrate a man who was not only a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and brother but also a remarkable human being, whose impact will live on through the generations he touched.

Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
