It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rosemary Lynn Maddock, who passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026 at Caressant Care Retirement Home in Woodstock, Ontario.

Rosemary was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and dear sister whose kindness and quiet strength touched the lives of many.

She was the beloved wife of the late George Maddock, with whom she shared 42 wonderful years of marriage. Rosemary was a proud and caring mother to her sons, Dean (Amanda) and Darrell (Kristin), and grandmother of four grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.

She was predeceased by her parents, Burnell and June Hedberg, and her siblings, Shirley Whittle, Wilfred Hedberg, Linda Hedberg, and Barbara Hedberg.

Rosemary is survived by her siblings, Robert Hedberg (Wendy) and Karl Hedberg (Barb), as well as by her many nieces and nephews, who will forever cherish her memory.

Cremation has taken place. Later, a private family inurnment will be held at Kirkton Union Cemetery.
