Ruth's achievements were not to her personal relationships; she was recognized for her spirited involvement within her community, notably winning an award at Woodingford Lodge for her contributions and engagement.

She is survived by her devoted spouse, Doug, and their cherished children: Terry (late Keith) Awde, Lori (Roy) Fox, and Bradley (Valerie) Booker. Ruth's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Neil (Cindy) Awde, Nathan (Vicki) Awde, Jodi (Ryan) Clayton, Justin (Laura) Fox, Dana Booker (Brett Barnett), Leita Booker (Dylan Rhiness), and Jesse Booker, as well as her nine great-grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy.

Ruth was predeceased by her parents, George and Erma Strickler, and her beloved siblings: sister Edith, and brothers Doug and Bill. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as her brother-in-law Don (Brenda) Booker and the late James Booker.

As we remember Ruth, we celebrate a life filled with laughter, love, and a legacy that will continue through her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
