Sandra Lee Coyne Mein, born on March 24, 1957, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, at University Hospital - LHSC. Her life was marked by generosity, warmth, and a passion for the simple joys that brought beauty and meaning to those around her.

Sandra held a deep love for reading that nourished her curious mind and expansive spirit throughout her life. She treasured the experience of camping, embracing nature’s gifts with enthusiasm and reverence. As spring arrived each year, Sandra found great joy in bringing fresh flowers into her home, filling her spaces with color and life. Among her cherished companions were her beloved dogs Oliver and Daisy, who provided comfort and loyal friendship.

Her family and close friends were the center of her world. She shared a loving partnership with Mark Hanover. Mother to her daughter, Elizabeth Rozek (Mike), and to her son, Aaron Rozek, whom she loved deeply. She was the proud nana of Harper-Rose. She was loved by her sisters, Myrna (Mike), Kerry (Hagen), and Donna (Keith), all residing in British Columbia. Along with her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and an extended family who cherished her deeply. A lifelong friend and former partner, Keith Park, also remained an important presence in her life.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Catherine Mein, whose memories she carried with her always.

Sandra Lee Coyne Mein’s legacy is one of love, care, and an enduring appreciation for the little wonders of life. She will be remembered with great affection and respect by all who had the honor of knowing her.
