Theodorus "Ted" Tunes

He was a sharing, caring and hard worker, and smart on top of that! Quite the mathematician! His mental math made most scratch their heads😆 His sense of humor made him stand out from most, which he carried through his battle. You were one of the lucky ones if he cooked you up a breakfast or a Turkey dinner, it was ALWAYS , made with love & delicious! He was his own song writer, making up lyrics to all kinds of melody's, and sharing them aloud for all to hear. He always let you know you had a friend in him, he had many of them. Soccer, fishing & horseshoes were some of his favs!

My Dad had a long battle to stay on this journeys life. He loved his family! When we decided he had to come into our home John stood by me to welcome him in. My Dad had his own private nurse in his grandson Dylan. Dylan was his steady unwavering right arm...literally and lovingly. No one could even imagine how amazing he cared for his Papa. He took over all the things I was uncapable of doing. Loving, Grandchildren (whom he loved so much) Tyson (Erica) Amazing Great-grandchildren Sean, Theo and Atlas. My Dad also acted great grandpa to Owen. 

My Dad had some amazing siblings that cooked, helped out and visited often. Ann Vandyk, Adrian (Eileen) Tuns and Mike (Rosemary) Tuns and all their children. He had his in-law family, some more like best friends, but all touched by him. Loving niece's & nephews as well as Greats.

My Dad was lucky to have great PSW's whom went above and beyond to make it here for him. There were some fabulous nurses in Hospital as well!

We appreciate all the love, prayers and kind words you sent during this battle, you are truly amazing! Know that you took the time to do so makes you a extra amazing person.
Sitting by the side of someone you love while they struggle to leave is such a difficult part of life...
My Dad's battle is now over😇
I know he will be one of the most amazing angels watching over us.
