It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that the family of Theresa (Terri) MacIntyre shares with her friends and family the news of her passing on January 22, 2026. Terri passed peacefully in her sleep while at home surrounded by friends and family.
Terri was the beloved mother of Angus Adams and Ken Adams and his wife Jane. She was a treasured grandmother to James Adams, who was like a son to her as well as Nicholas Adams, whom she loved dearly. Terri was great grandmother to Autumn Adams, who was a joy to her great grandma.
Terri was the loving partner of John Savel, whom she loved and shared life with for the past 18 years.
Terri is also survived by two brothers, John VanSlingerland and Patti along with Bill VanSlingerland and Jo-Anne
Predeceased by her first husband, Frank Adams, and her second husband “Joe” MacIntyre as well as brothers Ralph and John and sister Maida.
Terri will be deeply missed by her many friends and the numerous organizations where she put her talent for cooking and her compassion for others to use in volunteer positions. Her compassion and generous spirit will leave a lasting impression on all who know her.
Terri has left this world, but her spirit lives on in those she touched.
