Papp, Thomas Ferdinand

Passed away at Caressant Care surrounded by his loving family on August 8th at the age of 86. He is now reunited with his “Teddy Bear” Myrtle Papp(February 2024). Loving father to Ed Papp(Becky). He is predeceased by his parents Joseph and Margaret Papp. Brother of Dave and Jim Papp.

Tom was a kind, compassionate, caring and hardworking man. He worked at Canadian Tire in Ingersoll for over 25 years. He was property manager until age 84. He liked to keep busy and fix things. At Christmas he loved to dress up as Santa at local establishments to spread joy during the holiday season. He was an avid reader. He loved going for walks and would stop at his favorite restaurants for a coffee or a meal. He had a strong faith and attended Sunday service at the Salvation Army. He was also a proud member of the Odd Fellows and Rebekah’s as well as the Amos Lodge which he was a member of these organizations for over 30 years.

Although he may be gone physically his presence will forever be felt. His final wish was granted and his body is being donated to science.

A private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers please make donations to an animal rescue of your choosing.
