Walter Edward Mason

MASON Walter Edward – Walter passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, May 21, 2025 at the hospital in Lions Head, Northern Bruce Peninsula in his 98th year. Walter was predeceased by his beloved wife Betty June Mason (Seibel) to whom he was married for 67 years.

A great Dad, he will be missed by his children Michael Mason (Kathryn) of Wiarton, Peter Mason of Ottawa and Janice Moran of Streetsville. He will also be greatly missed by grandsons Jeffrey Mason of Hamilton, Sean Mason (Gillian) of Ridgeville, Eric Vienna (Kim) of Streetsville, Joshua Bernstein-Mason of Ottawa, great step grandson Alex Sykes, great granddaughters Mikayla and Brynlee Mason of Ridgeville, and great granddaughters Lennon and Parker Vienna of Streetsville.

The family is grateful to the staff at Wiarton and Lion’s Head hospitals for their compassionate service. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at 11am, on Wednesday June 18th, 2025 at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock (519) 539-0004), followed by the funeral service at 12pm with reception and burial to follow.
