Wendy Markus

Under God’s providential care, Wendy Markus (nee Visser) entered Glory on her 41st wedding anniversary September 8th, 2025. She entered suddenly in the early hours of the morning with her beloved Husband Clarence at her side. In her short 66 years, she along with her loving husband of 41years (1 John 4:7) with God’s guiding hand, raised their children on their Beachville family dairy farm. Born in Woodstock on September 15th, 1958 to her predeceased parents Fedde (2003) Martje (2016) in-laws Klaas (1995) Nellie(1998)

Wendy leaves behind her husband Clarence. Her children, Darryl and Sarah(Stephens) their children Landon, Reid, Cooper, Jace, Greyson, Brooks and Haven. Gary and Hilary(Sparkes) and their children Peyton, Nolan, Blayke and Kohen. Michelle and Mike Raepple and their children Rachel, Kayla, Emory and Adrianna. Mark and Willeke (de Jong) and their children Dustin, Silas, Tyson and Lucas.

Wendy is survived by her siblings, Al (late Caroline), Coby (Gaele), Wilma Hartman(Bert), Sid(Toby), BettyAnn Scharringa (Rob) and Andrea Scharringa (Richard) as well as Her brother-in-law John (Garma). She will be dearly missed by 28 Nieces and Nephews.

Christian Education was near and dear to her heart! In Lieu of Flowers donations made to the following Christian schools: Woodstock Christian School, Oxford Reformed Christian School and Covenant Christian School in Lambeth.

Visitation will take place on Friday September 12, 2025 from 7-9 pm and Saturday Septemeber 13, 2025 from 10 am- 12 noon and 2pm-4 pm at Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave.)

A Funeral Service will take place on Monday September 15, 2025 at 11 am at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church (735 Frontenac Crescent) Interment will take place at Hillview Cemetery.
