He is predeceased by his parents Georgina and Bill, his wife Doris, and his son Willy Taylor.
Bill was more than just a father, he was our best friend. There wasn’t a day that passed without him talking to his daughters. Family was everything to him. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; they were truly his world.
Bill loved life and loved people. He made friends everywhere he went. He was generous, always wanting to help others, often cooking for his friends and entertaining anyone who came through his door. After moving to Tillsonburg just over a year ago, he made many new friends in his apartment building. His closest companions, Linda and Marilyn, were a special part of his life, and we are so grateful for the joy they brought him this past year.
He never wanted anyone to worry or stress—Bill stayed positive for his friends and family right until the end. He was the life of the party. The more people around him, the happier he was.
Dad/Papa, you will be missed more than words can express. We love you so much. We were not ready to say goodbye. It was the hardest day of our lives. Our hearts are broken, but until we meet again, we will carry your love with us.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 2nd, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m at the Norwich Legion.
