VIRTUE, Wilmoth Jo (November 16, 1943- July 8, 2024) - Wilmoth spent her whole life in Oxford County. She grew up loving animals, rock & roll music, and painting. Her first job was at the Woodstock Movie Theatre. She eventually married in 1970 and raised two children on her husband’s farm on Parkinson Rd. until they eventually moved to Parrott Place in Woodstock in 2004. She was also an avid reader, but unfortunately slowly lost her vision due to diabetes later in life. Wilmoth was a warm hearted, kind and compassionate soul that lived a simple and modest life. Wilmoth passed away at Secord Trails in Ingersol after years of battling with both dementia & diabetes.
Her loving daughter was by her side, holding her hand, while they listened to one of Wilmoth’s favourite Elvis songs.

Wilmoth is predeceased by her Grandmother Florence Traut, father James Traut, mother Margaret Gladys Traut,
husband Robert Virtue, son Bobby Virtue. She leaves behind her sister Dianna Belitski (nee Traut) of Grimsby and her daughter Annette Virtue of Woodstock. She will also be sadly missed by her various brother-in-laws & sister-in-laws, nieces & nephews. She will be interred at Oxford Memorial Park cemetery at an undisclosed date. A special celebration of Wilmoth’s life will take place at her Parrott Pl. residence where she will be remembered by family and friends.
