JACKSON, Andrew B. – It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our dearly beloved son, Andrew Brian Jackson, on Friday March 18, 2022, at the age of 36. He left us peacefully in his sleep. Heaven has gained another angel. Andrew had a heart of gold -he loved his family and friends enormously! He was passionate about his country and proudly served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 12 years, fighting in the Afghanistan war in 2009. Andrew was courageous, had a terrific sense of humour and a beaming smile from ear to ear. Although Andrew was left with some challenges related to serving in the military, he continued to fight for what he believed in. He was an awesome son to Brian (Joyce) Jackson, late Linda (nee Rafuse) Jackson (1989), grandson to Jean Jackson, loving brother to Valerie, Christopher, and Mark, adored by his 3 beautiful children -Gabriel, Sophia, and Luke. Andrew also leaves behind his loving partner, Naomi, and her son Elliott and will sadly be missed by his many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Many friends are left to mourn his passing. Rest in peace, Andrew. You are dearly missed by everyone who had the pleasure to know you. Friends are invited to join the family at St. David’s United Church, 190 Springbank Ave., Woodstock on Friday April 8, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8pm, where the memorial service will be held in the Sanctuary on Saturday at 1:30 pm. Overflow parking is available across the street at Bethany Lutheran Church. Memorial service will be recorded. Cremation has taken place. Due to the increase in Covid cases, the family has requested that all attendees to the visitation and/or service wear a face mask. Memorial contributions to the O.S.I. at Parkwood Hospital, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #55., Woodstock would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Woodstock, 519-539-0004.
