Antonia "Toni" Josephine Maria (Van Moorsel) Van Bommel

Van Bommel, Toni – Passed away peacefully surrounded with love at Victoria Hospital in London, on Sunday, March 7th, 2021, in her 81st year. Cherished and devoted wife of Harry Van Bommel for 11 wonderful years. Loved mother of Patricia (Marilyn Ellis) Berendsen, John (Arlene) Berendsen, and Paul (Tanya) Berendsen. Treasured and special Grandma to Michelle (Kevin) Rothwell, Sarah (Vijay) VanderSingh, Hannah Vanderheyden, Joel (Alysha) Vanderheyden, Scott (Karina) Berendsen, Ben Berendsen, Laina Berendsen, Ainsley Berendsen, and Wesley Berendsen.  Precious Great-Grandma of Lila-Rose, twins Lily and Madison, and Jonah. Survived by siblings; Nelda Dwyer, Helen (William) Wardle-Hiscock, Albert (Ricky) Van Moorsel, Harry (Helen) Van Moorsel, twins Arnold (Josie) Van Moorsel and Rita (John) Dewys, John (Ricky) Van Moorsel, Bill (Tina) Van Moorsel, and late Liz (2015) (late John) (2017) Van Gaal. Dear cousin and close friend to Ann Vandeven (late Arnold 2018). Toni will also be remembered by Harry’s children, grandchildren, and great grandchild, and by Toni’s many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents John (1979) and Petronella “Nellie” (Bekkers) Van Moorsel (2010), Peter Berendsen (2005), brothers-in-law, Carl Smith (1985), and Fergus Dwyer (1994). A public visitation will be held at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford on Friday March 12, 2021 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. (Due to COVID restrictions and limited capacity, visitors MUST R.S.V.P. on the funeral home website www.brockandvisser.com or phone the funeral home 519-285-2427 to attend the visitation and/or service.) A funeral mass will be held at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 1980 Trafalgar St., London on Saturday March 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm and will be Live-Streamed online.
