Audrey Pearl (Baigent) Hutcheson

Hutcheson, Audrey Pearl – Passed away peacefully at home on August 1st, 2021, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Ron (2016) and her brother Hartwell Baigent (1979). Cherished mother of Joyce and Rodney MacDuff, Gwen and Grant Hansford, Mary and Rick Hodgins, Janet and John Couch, Ken Hutcheson and Sandra Green. Proud grandmother of 12, great grandmother of 17 and great great grandmother of 3. Beloved daughter of the late Victor and Bertha Baigent. Also survived by siblings Lorna Howell, Marjorie Munroe and Edwin Baigent. Audrey’s greatest accomplishment was her family; she taught at Thamesford public school before getting married. After marrying Ron in 1951, the two owned and operated a dairy farm near Crampton, ON until they moved to the village in 1996.  Involvement in the church community and writing for the Dorchester Signpost were some of her other interests. A private family service is taking place at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford (519-285-2427). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to The Schizophrenia Society of Canada, Reynolds Creek United Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated and may be arranged through the funeral home.
