Beverly Elsie (Herman) Bentum

BENTUM, Beverly “Bev” (nee Herman)- Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 3rd, 2023, at St. Marys Hospital, in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim Bentum (1988). Loving mother of Donny (Karen) and Kim (Tony) Masseo. Cherished grandmother of Lee (Joe). Predeceased by her mother Helen Herman (nee Monteith), loving aunts Oliverne “Aunt Vernie”, Dorothy, and Elsie, uncles Eddie, Melbourne, Roy, Jimmy, Gordon, and Donny and loving great nieces and nephews. Bev was a long-time employee of Loblaws and had gained many friends throughout her career.  She was adored by so many, especially with that beautiful smile and warm welcome. She had the most contagious laugh, and her amazing sense of humour will be greatly missed. Bev loved her home that was built with her late husband Jim and had true, unconditional love for her family, her friends, and her little furry pets. Simply put Bev loved life. Friends are invited to join the family Friday, January 6th, 2023, at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford (519-285-2427) from 10 am to 11 am with the service taking place at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial contributions to the Kingsway Lodge or Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
