Walter Robert (Bob) Sageman

1934 - 2020

On February 19, 2020, in his 86th year, Bob Sageman, beloved husband of Pat (nee Oke) passed peacefully. Bob is survived by his brother Dan (Sue). Proud father of four boys, Randy (Susan), Mark (Sherrilynn), Kevin (Shauna) and Brian (Rose). Bob is also survived by six grandchildren (Kori, Joshua, Caitlyn, Sindi, Michael, and Alex) and two great-grandchildren (Colt, and Aubree). He will be greatly missed by all. Born and raised in London, Bob was very athletic, his passions included golf, tennis, football, gymnastics and a love for fishing and boating. In 1959 he married Pat Oke of London and they settled in Thamesford.  Bob was a sales representative for major companies before becoming a well-respected part of the Cold Springs Farm in Thamesford. As an active community supporter, Bob was a member of the Lions Club for over 20 years and at one-point president. Later in life, he continued to contribute to the community with the local chapter of the Canadian Cancer Society. Visitation will be at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, Thamesford Chapel, 177 Dundas St., Thamesford (519-285-2427), on Monday, Feb 24, 2020, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm. and 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Interment details will be shared at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and/or Heart and Stroke Foundation and may be arranged through the Funeral Home.
