Carole Anne (Weiler) McLaren

McLAREN, Carole Anne- Passed away peacefully on December 27th, 2021, in her 82nd year. Carole was born on Aug. 22nd, 1939, in Woodstock, Ontario, daughter to Jack and Doris Weiler.   Beloved wife of the late Howard Day (1992), and Jim McLaren (2019).  Loved mother to Stephen (Rosie) Day, and stepmother to Jennifer (Jeff) Nobbs, and Jeff McLaren.   Adored grandmother to Tabitha (Justin) Shank, Bridget (Jordon) Vandermeer, & Rachel (Jared Visser) Day.  Grammie to Liam, Lucas, Lillian, Benson, and Clara. Loved step-grandmother to Michael (Caitland), Andrew (Alicia), Jamie (Lacey) and their families.   After marrying Howard, she moved to the farm on Curries Rd., and enjoyed being a part of the Oxford Centre Church & UCW.  She was a life member of the Norwich Curling Club, worked out of the house as a hairdresser, and later at Woodingford Lodge as a hairdresser.  Her enjoyment and passion were her family, her flowerbeds and gardening.  Friends may visit with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Thursday December 30th, 2021, from 3-5, and again on Friday December 31st from 10 – 10:45 am.  The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday December 31st, 2021, at 11:00 am.  Interment later at Oxford Centre Pioneer Cemetery.  Guests must RSVP through the funeral home website to attend both visitation and/or service.  Masks are mandatory and Covid protocols in place.  If desired, contributions to the Woodstock Hospital or VON Sakura House would be appreciated.  Personal condolences may be viewed and placed at www.brockandvisser.com
