Daniel "Dan" James Stirling

STIRLING, Daniel “Dan” - Passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 29, 2020, a few days before his 79th birthday. Beloved husband of Cheryl Hutchinson for over 25 years. Cherished father of Deb Dorken and her late husband Lance. Much loved Papa to Amanda and Eric VanRooyen. Adored Great Papa to Tyler and Caleb VanRooyen. Father to April Neumann and her family Alyson, Emmy and Jaimie Jones. Dear brother of Bob (Jean Bergmen) Stirling, Mary Tait, John Stirling and will be dearly missed by Barb Kennedy and her family. Predeceased by his first wife Ella and several brothers and sisters. Dan was a long time member of the Oxford County Naval Veterans Association (Navy Club). He was an active member of the Colour Party and served on the Sports Committee. A get-together to celebrate Dan, will take place on Saturday, September 12th, 2020 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at 344 Clarke Street, Woodstock, ON. Cremation has taken place.
