MELLES, David P. - With the love of his family by his side at the Woodstock Hospital on Thursday October 15, 2020 two days before his 66th birthday.  Beloved husband  of Helen M (nee Jonkman) Melles for over 44 years. Loving father of Matt (Jennifer) Melles, Pauline (Pete) Markus and Jennifer Melles. Cherished grandfather of Noah Markus, Ellyse "Elly" Markus, Reagan Melles and Sammy Melles. Dear brother of Tony (Toula) Melles, Stephen (Sylvia) Melles, Peter (Angie) Melles, Michael (Brenda) Melles and will always be remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Paul and Hennie Melles. David and his wife have been building managers in Woodstock for Drewlo Holdings for over 10 years. He was a professional Herdsman, a Manager at ABS Global and St. Jacobs ABC for 20 years, and was a proud member and volunteer at South Gate Centre, Woodstock. Friends are invited to Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Tuesday October 20, 2020 from 12:00 - 2:00 pm for a time of visitation. Masks are mandatory. A private family service will follow. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial contributions to Woodstock Hospital Palliative Care Unit, South Gate Centre or V.O.N.
