Doris Mabel (Barron) Ernewein

ERNEWEIN,  Doris M. – Passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday August 4, 2022 having celebrated her 90th birthday. Beloved wife of Leo “Bud” Ernewein for over 71 years. Loving mother of Larry (Elaine), Danny (Karen), Linda (Randy) McNaught, Mike (Nancy), Joe (Barb) and Julie (Bruce) Cole. Cherished grandmother of sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Predeceased by her granddaughter Kendra (2013). Doris was a long-time member of the C.W.L. at St. Rita’s and then Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and South Gate Centre Woodstock. Her love for music was expressed deeply through the choirs at church and South Gate Centre. Doris and Bud performed for many years in both SPATS and Harmony Duo. She was an avid crafter, created stained glass, ceramics and loved her sewing. Doris will be truly missed with all of her artistic abilities shown through her many talents and creations she shared with family and friends. A memorial Mass will be held on Thursday August 11, 2022, at 2PM at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, 1420 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock. Cremation has taken place.
