VALE-HANSON, Eleanor Adelaide (nee Todd) - Passed away peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Ingersoll on Monday, April 25th, 2022, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Vale (1964) and Richard Hanson (1994). Loving mother of Ellen (Brian) Howard, Frank Vale, and Brian (Nicole) Vale. Cherished grandmother of the late Dave Howard (2014), Jeff Howard, Shane Vale, Chad (Lisa) Vale, and Carrie (Stewart) Martin, and Sunshine (Ian) Calton and great grandmother of Jacob, Rubin, Brock, Logan, Sierra, Cooper, Preston, Ben, William, Olivia, and step-great granddaughter Taylor. Dear sister to Reg (Fran) Todd, and sister-in-law to Elaine, Muriel and Marion Todd. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Colleen Vale, sister Beatrice (Bill) Baskett and brothers Fred, Alex (Marg), Gord, and Charles Todd. Eleanor is survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday, April 29th, 2022, from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will take on Saturday at 11:00 am in the chapel. A private family burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery in London. If desired, memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
