GREENFIELD- Erwin Ross- Peacefully at his home on Tuesday May 26th, 2020. Erwin R. Greenfield of RR# 3 Embro in his 88th year. He was the son of the late Pearl and George Greenfield. Dear brother of Helen (late Eldon) Ahrens. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his sister Florence (John) Hanchiruk, George (Kay) Greenfield and Allen (Stella) Greenfield. Erwin lived on the family home farm near Embro, all of his life where he was a dairy farmer. Erwin loved spending time outdoors, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and attending all the local fairs and farm shows. He was a compassionate and generous person. There will be a private family interment held at the North Embro Cemetery. If desired, contributions to the Canadian Mental Health Association, or if you wish, simply planting a tree in memory of Erwin would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004. Special thanks go to Liz Hanchiruk for all the care and love that she showed her great uncle Erwin over the past few years. He was so thankful for her friendship.
