Esther Mary Margaret (Watt) Walton

Walton, Esther Mary Margaret (nee Watt) – Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, July 30th 2021, in the Woodstock Hospital Palliative Care Unit in her 85th year. Cherished wife of Robert “Bob” Walton for 50 years. Lovingly remembered by her children Mary Brundige, Lee (Pam) Brundige, and Lynn (Murray) Wareing. Grandmother to Jessica (Taylor Maheral) Wareing, and Robbie Wareing. Esther leaves behind her sister Sally (Roger) Murray, sister-in-law Pat Watt, brother-in-law Billy (Debbie) Walton, BFF Janet (Dave) Mutch, and nieces, nephews and many friends who love her. Predeceased by her son John Walton, parents Mary and William Watt, brother David Watt, Sister Patricia (Alvin) Nadalin, Brother Bob Watt, and brother-in-law Phillip Walton. Esther enjoyed the simple pleasures in life and she loved her grandchildren and family intensely. Life unfolded around the Kitchen Table on Admiral Street where there was always a pot of tea, a listening ear, lots of laughter, and perhaps a game of cards to be found. Special thanks to Park Place Retirement Community staff and to Diane Murray and her palliative care team at Woodstock Hospital for their compassionate care. A private family service will take place Monday August 2nd, 2021 at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home Woodstock, with burial to follow at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery.
