Eunice Pearl (Harkes) Worte

WORTE, Eunice Pearl (nee Harkes)- Passed peacefully at Victoria Hospital, in her 72nd year. Surrounded by her family on December 15th, 2020. She is survived by her loving and supportive husband Howard William Worte of 52 years. Loving mother of Lynn Worte (Stephen Smith) of Uniondale, David Worte (Wendy) of Lakeside, and Donna Smith (Karl) of Thorndale. Proud grandma of Ryan (Kady Billings), Raechel (Jared Boertien), Kaitlin, Emma, Mack, Quinn, Jack, and Samuel. Survived by siblings Cheryl McCall (George) of Owen Sound, Bill Harkes (Cindy) of Putnam, Robert Harkes (Luanne) of Embro, sister’s in-law Shirley Hacon (Harold) of Thorndale, Sharon Agla (Dick- Deceased) of Kitchener, Charles Worte (Deceased) (Holly Keizer) of Orton, and Linda Worte of London also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William Harkes and Pearl Harkes (Wilson). In honour of Eunice’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A special thank you to the amazing staff at University Hospital, Alexandra Hospital, and Victoria Hospital for their wonderful care and compassion during this difficult time.
