Gary Richard Geiling

GEILING, Gary- Passed away surrounded by his family at the Brantford General Hospital on Sunday, July 24th, 2022, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Rose Marie Geiling. Loving father of Sandra “Sam” (Eric) Bartosky, Michael (Julia) Geiling, and Susan (Chuck) Longtin, and stepfather to Duncan (Cathy) Smith and Chris (Freda) Smith. Cherished grandfather of Nicole Bender, Nikkole Trudeau, Rick Muré, Micky Geiling, and Bradie Newton, and step grandfather to Brice, Angela, Cameron (Amandine), and Maverick Smith. Proud great grandfather of Jaiden Longtin-Hill, Emma Longtin, Caelyn Bender, and Gavin Bender.  Dear brother to Patricia Robinson. Dear uncle to Rob (Bev) Robinson, Angela (Tom) Robinson-Giuffra.  Predeceased by his grandson Chris Longtin (2019) and brother-in-law Rob Robinson (2015). In his early years Gary spent many hours playing hockey and enjoyed watching the sport. In his later years he developed a passion for golf and became an avid player. It was also golf that grew many friendships that Gary held very dear to him. Friends are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Tuesday, August 2nd, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm again from 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 11:00 am. If desired, memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
