George "Howard" Piggott

PIGGOTT, Howard - Of Innerkip passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Woodstock General Hospital on Monday January 24th, 2022, at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Annabel Piggott (nee Renecker) married in 1968. Cherished father of Vicky (Rob) Legate of Ivanhoe, Daren and (Cindy) Piggott of Woodstock, Lori Piggott of Woodstock, Teena and (Ed) McNee of Komoka. Dear brother of Shirley Kitching of Woodstock, Harold and (Bessie) Piggott, of Woodstock, Ralph and (Marcy) Piggott, of Innerkip, Donna Piggott of Kitchener. Loving Grandfather “Papa” to Nathan Legate of Cold Lake Alberta, and Jordin Legate of Ivanhoe, and Step Grandfather to Kyle Shank, Jennifer Thompson of Woodstock, and Gabriel McNee of Sarnia and Thalya McNee of Watford. Great grandfather of Livia in Cold Lake Alberta. Predeceased by parents George and Stella (Yeo) Piggott of Innerkip, and sister Lorna Barnim (Piggott) of Holbrook. For Howard farming was his passion, he had a special relationship with Mother Nature through farming and daily dog walks with his best friend Copper. Family was his joy; faith was his foundation. Howard was an active member of Innerkip United Church. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Friday, May 27th, 2022 from  4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 28th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.  If desired, memorial contributions can be donated to Alzheimer Society or Innerkip United Church and may be made online at www.brockandvisser.com
