Gerald Leroy Lindsay

Lindsay, Gerald Leroy - Gerald’s family sadly announces his sudden passing on May 6, 2022, at Kensington Village at the age of 93.  Gerald has headed off to dance with his two favorite ladies.  He is predeceased by his first wife Betty Lindsay (McIver, 2008) and his second wife Ena (Patterson, 2020), and his younger brother Ken (2018).  His laughter and wisdom will be dearly missed by his son Garry (Yvonne).  He will also be missed by Ena’s sons Jeff (Sue) and Rob (Cindy).  Gerald had an immeasurable and lasting impact on many people.  He is remembered by his nieces and nephews and shared a special bond with his niece Lori.  Gerald’s accomplishments were numerous and his friendships with those around him constantly expanded.  He was a proud Guernsey farmer, real estate agent, past Master of the Mount Olivet Lodge in Thorndale, sports enthusiast, amateur actor in local theatre, and enjoyed traveling the globe.  A special thank you to the staff at Kensington Village and to Dr. Daniel Leger.  Friends and relatives are invited to join the family on Wednesday, May 11th from 9:30-11:00 at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 177 Dundas Street, Thamesford. A Masonic lodge service will begin at 11:00 and the funeral service will follow at 11:30.
