Harvey Clarence Silverthorn

Peacefully and surrounded by his family, Harvey Clarence Silverthorn, in his 73rd year passed away at the Woodstock Hospital after a short battle with cancer on May 4, 2022.  Beloved husband of 45 years to Marion (Chesney).  Proud father of Adam (Laurie) and Becky (Kobi).  Cherished and proud grandfather of Harper and Isla.  Brother of Lois (John) Diakun and Linda (Vince) Schwientek.  Harvey will be missed by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.    

Predeceased by his parents Bill and June and stepfather Ralph.  

Harvey was the founder of Wiseco Canada leaving his legacy to Adam and Becky.  He was the Past President of Woodstock Rotary Club and Past District Governor with Scouts Canada.  He was an avid fisherman, who loved camping, racing and spending winters at their Florida home with family and many friends.  Everyone will remember Harvey and all his great stories he told.  He touched many lives leaving a huge loss to so many.  

Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Tuesday May 10th 2022 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday May 11th 2022 at 11:00 am.  Interment in Burford Cemetery.  If desired, contributions to the Woodstock Special Olympics or charity of your choice would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be sent and viewed at brockandvisser.com
