Hilde / Mom / Oma, whatever name you knew her by, was a generous and warm-hearted person who lived a full and interesting life. She was never one to harbour bitterness or resentment even after suffering through WW2 and the harsh realities of immigration to Canada. As her life went on there were many joyous times, wonderful adventures, good friends and, of course, a great husband and family. She would say that her life was well lived.
There will be a visitation Sunday September 11, 2022, 10 am, at Brock and Visser Funeral Home.
845 Devonshire Ave. Woodstock.
A celebration of Hilde’s life will be held in the chapel immediately after at 11.00 am followed by a reception (at Brock and Visser).
Hilde did like flowers but was also a great animal lover. Donations would be sincerely appreciated for the Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (OSPCA) or the World Wildlife Fund Canada (WWF)
You can shed tears that she is gone
