Isabelle (Kane) Baird

With deep sorrow we announce that Isabelle Baird passed away at Woodingford Lodge on Monday, December 27, 2021 with family at her side.
Left to mourn are her son Tom, daughter-in-law Pat, her granddaughters and their husbands, Jennifer and Brian Wieringa, Janice and Carl Bloomfield and Becky and Paul Cruz and her great grandchildren Brendan, Meghan, Kayla, Katey, Mila and Felix and her sister Janet Stewart and nieces and nephews.
Isabelle was predeceased by her loving husband Brock Baird on October 22, 1998. She was also predeceased by her sister Elizabeth Wright and brothers-in-law Robert Wright, Carl Stewart, William Baird, Donald Baird and sisters-in-law Ruth Eller and Marion Baird.
Isabelle was born in Scotland to John and Elizabeth Kane July 9, 1928. Her family emigrated to Canada first living in Sarnia then Woodstock.
Isabelle volunteered for many years with the Woodstock Hospital Auxiliary and was proud to be able to contribute to the hospital and the patients.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Brock and Visser Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be announced later.
Donations to the Woodstock General Hospital in her memory will be appreciated by the family.
