Jim Warner Obituary

Russell James (Jim) Warner passed away peacefully on Friday September 29, 2023 in his 84th year.  A caring husband, dad, grandfather, and friend.  Predeceased by his Mother Elizabeth (Alfred).  Jim is survived by his wife Donna of 62 years of marriage, sons Bill (Lori) and Brian (Melissa), grandson Jake (Katelyn), granddaughter Olivia, great granddaughter Layne and great grandson Morgan.  Brother to Reg (Sharon) and Bill (Predeceased) (Bunny).  Jim worked for the MTO and was able to retire at the young age of 53.  Jim was community minded and took pride in being a member of the Free Masons. Thamesford became home where they raised their family and later moved to enjoy retirement years at Long Point .  There he enjoyed many years of fishing and happy hours with friends.  Jim was always quick with a joke and willing to lend a hand in the years he was able to do so.  The family would like to thank the palliative team at Parkwood hospital for their compassionate care of Jim.  At Jim’s request there will be no visitation and a private family service will be held.  We hold his memory within our hearts, and there he will remain. Cheers to Jim.
