Joan Elaine Grace (Wisson) Henderson

Henderson, Joan Elaine Grace- On Sunday, April 10th, 2022, peacefully at Sakura House in her 90th year, with her loving daughter Nance at her side our beloved matriarch took her final breath. Dearly missed by Julie, Jeanne (2000), Nancy Anne & Colin Taylor, Nora Lee, Scott & Leila. Predeceased by the love of her life “Bill” (1999) as well her sisters Vivian & Ralph Norma Jean & Irwin. Survived by her brother Robert “Bob” (Audrey) sisters-in-law Dorothy (Howard), Shirley (Vic), Anne (Archie). Dearly loved by 24 grandchildren & 28 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild and many nieces & nephews as well as her many friends. She enjoyed traveling and visiting many islands with Bill. Making 3 trips by herself to Australia to visit her granddaughter, Corinne. She loved camping, dancing, and a good game of cards, birthdays, and any chance for a celebration of some kind. Her church was so very important to her. Joan was always seen dressed so beautifully with her hair perfectly in place. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (177 Dundas St, Thamesford), Tuesday, April 12th, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00. The funeral service will be held at the Westminster United Church on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022, at 1:30 PM.  Burial at the Westminster Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Thamesford Arena.
