McArthur, John Charles Thomas – Suddenly, on November 17, 2021, John Charles Thomas McArthur (T-Bone) passed away at Woodstock Hospital in his 79th year. Predeceased by his loving mother Helen and father Lorne. Beloved husband of the late Irene (nee Janach).

Loving father to Cheryl, Sharon (Darren) and Lori. Adored grandfather to Randy Thomas. Remembered by first wife Carol (nee Beacon). Missed by nephew Wayne (Shawna) and niece Kim (Ian) and great nephew Jacob. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Predeceased by brothers William “Winky” (Marlene), Donald “Orange Crate” (Sandy), Miriam (May) Jensen (Don), Peter “Stump Jumper”, Katherine (Kathy).

An avid trucker for nearly 50 years, he dedicated his life to a profession he loved. John’s love of country music amassed an extensive collection, specifically Hank Williams Sr. a hobby that he enjoyed.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Knox United Church on Saturday Nov 27, 2021 (2976 Charleston Sideroad, Caledon Village, ON L7K 0V8) 1-5pm. Proof of vaccinations must be shown as well as masks.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or St Andrews Stone Church and Cemetery (Caledon, ON).
