John Lyle Statham

STATHAM, John Lyle - Lyle's journey on earth ended on November 20th, 2020, then he went to be with his Lord in Heaven. Loving husband of Helen (Golinski) for 61 years. Proud father of Joan (Tony) Cybulski, Bruce (Ruth Ann) Statham, and Sheila (Ania) Nunns. Grandfather of Jenna (Jesse) Smith, Jason (Tori) Cybulski, Kyle (Tanya) Cybulski, Adam Statham, Jordan (Chris) Minor, Lauren Statham, Jason Statham, and Jesse Nunns. Great grandfather of Paislee, Jackson, and Elliott Cybulski, Leo Smith, and Easton Minor. Lyle is also survived by his brother David (Alexis) Statham, and sisters Jean (John) Rosenfeld, and Carroll (Tom) Esler. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Beatrice Statham, brother Walter Statham and sister Madeline Reynolds. Lyle enjoyed serving with the Gideons and Youth for Christ. In addition to his love of helping others, he also had a passion for travelling. Family and friends are invited to gather at Oxford Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday, November 23rd at 2:00 pm for a graveside service. Due to covid restrictions, it is mandatory to RSVP through the funeral home website. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Gideons International in Canada, Youth for Christ Canada, or a charity of one's choice would be appreciated and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (519-539-0004).
