Judson "Jud" Charles Denby

Denby, Judson Charles “Jud” – Passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 16, 2021 at Sakura House, Woodstock, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Maxine Marie Denby (2000). Devoted father of Cathy (late Terry) Smith, Jim (Dianne) Denby, Judy (Mike) Ibbotson and Pam (Dave) Walker. Cherished grandfather of Rebecca (Jason) Denby Eddy, Sara (Derek) Howchin, Christopher Denby, JoLynn (Steve) Melo, Cassandra (Rick) Vandenberg, Haley Tucker, Lauren Dumitru and Carlina Tucker. Treasured great grandfather of Julianne, Mila, Leila, Miguel, and Sophia. Dear brother of Jean (late Bill) Phelps and Linda (Al) Drysdale. Predeceased by his daughter Debbie Denby and siblings Doris (late Leonard) Patience, Don (late Barb)  Denby, and Bill (Eleanor) Denby. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Jud enjoyed being outdoors either feeding birds, taking in the wildlife, or cheering on his baseball team. He also loved making trips to his favourite stores looking for great bargains. Later in life, he often treated his friends and family to some of his homemade baked goods.  Friends and family are welcome to join the family on Saturday, July 24th from 10-11 AM at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire ave., Woodstock (Space is limited and guests are required to RSVP online at the funeral home website).
