Kenneth "Ken" Leroy Payne

Payne, Kenneth Leroy - Peacefully at home in Thamesford on Monday, February 1st, 2021, surrounded by his immediate family. Beloved husband for 70 years of Marion (nee Hutchison). Dear father of Allan (Karen), Donna Adams, and Neil (Alice). Proud grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by parents Roy and Verna Payne; sisters, Wilma McMartin (Edwin), Elsie Duncanson (Archie), and brother-in-law Lloyd Hutchison. Survived by sister-in-law Janet Hutchison and several nieces and nephews. For Ken’s whole life, farming was his passion. He lived in the Thamesford community and was a member of the Westminster United Church and a life member of the Lions Club. As per his wishes, a private graveside service has been arranged. If desired, memorial contributions to the Westminster United Church or the Thamesford Lion’s Club would be appreciated.
