Lillian May (Maltby) Sears

SEARS, Lillian May (Maltby)- Passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Monday, August 24, 2020, in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late John “Jack” Sears. Loving mother of the late Sharon (Mike) Utting, late Nancy (Al) Himes, John (late Ruth), Michael, Wendy (late Richard) Scott and Valerie (Brian) Sears. Cherished grandmother of 16, great grandmother and great-great grandmother of many. Predeceased by her sibling’s Florence Brush, Elsie Scott, Marion Maltby, Annie Rowland, Clara Cannon, and William Maltby. Lillian will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Friends and relatives are invited to join the family at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004), on Sunday, August 30, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm (MASKS REQUIRED). A private family service with a burial to follow at Oxford Memorial Park will be held at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions to the Diabetes Association, Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Salvation Army Church would be greatly appreciated.
