STOUWDAM, Marinus- Passed away suddenly at the Woodstock Hospital on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022, in his 54th year. Loved husband of Katherine “Katie” Stouwdam (nee Pelton) and proud father to his girls, Danika and Alieda. Dear son of Eef and the late Helmig Stouwdam, and son-in-law of Dohn and the late Joanne Pelton. Cherished brother of Jan (Anja) Stouwdam, Coby (André) Doornweerd, Hennie (Gerrit) Kwakkel, Henk (Henriette) Stouwdam, and Jantine (Jos) Boeve. Brother-in-law to Becki (Wes) Pelton, Marianne (Paul) Piggott, and Stephen (Veronica) Pelton. Marinus will be greatly missed by his many nieces, Eveline, Matanja, Rianne, Heleen, Eva, Anna, Lotte, Naema, Thamar, Sophie, and his nephews, Helmig-Jan, Beerd, Rik, Saïd, Gerald, Helmer, Johnathan, Kace, Carson, Jasper, Benjamin, and Jermi. Friends are invited to join the family at Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock (519-539-0004) on Saturday, May 21st, 2022, from 2 to 5 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, at Innerkip Presbyterian Church, 64 Blandford St. Innerkip, at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Innerkip Cemetery. If desired, memorial contributions to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, a trust that has been set up for Marinus’ daughters, or to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated.
