SWEARS, Marlene - September 22, 1946 - May 25, 2023
The family of Marlene “Chicky” (Giasson) Swears is saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, May 25 at Woodstock Hospital after a brief illness. Marlene will be reunited with her late husband David Swears. She will be forever missed by her children Kip and Tiffany, and her dearly beloved Felines Tawny and Bandit.
Marlene is also survived by her siblings Bernice (late Ralph ) Walker and Rudy (Sandra) Giasson and is predeceased by siblings, Doris (Yvon) Valiquette and Roy and Paul Giasson. She will be missed by her sister-in-laws Dale (John) Deheer and Brenda (Tom) Swears-Miklos. Marlene will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and great-neices/nephews. Marlene is predeceased by her parents Ovilla and Jeanne Giasson

Friends and loved ones are invited to join the family on Wednesday May 31st, 2023, for the service at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Donations may be made to Simbas Cat and Kitten Rescue or the Lung Association and may be arranged through the funeral home.
