BRAGG, Michael Richard – Passed away peacefully with his wife Kelly by his side at the Woodstock Hospital on Friday July 9, 2021 in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Kelly (nee Newell) Bragg for over 28 years.  Loved father of Tara Bragg (Rob Axon), Amanda Bragg, Ryan Bragg (Lisa Kerr), Erin Bragg (Wes Fitchett). Loving grandfather of Avery, Ben, Kate, Elly and Henry. Dear brother of Sharon (Bob) Hamilton, Nancy (Mike) Kijewski, son-in-law to Norma (late Allen) Jacklin, and brother-in-law to Pauline Bragg, Charmaine Bragg, Danny (Kathy) Newell, Cary (Lu-Anne) Newell, Colleen (Brian) Chapman, and is survived by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents George and Olive Bragg, and by his brothers Gerry and Brian Bragg. Mike was employed with the County of Oxford for over 46 years. He served the county in many capacities including the Director of Oxford County Board of Health and finished his career as the Chief Administrative Officer of the County of Oxford. He will be truly missed by the many colleagues and friends he has made over the years at work and within the community.   Friends are invited to join the family for a time of visitation at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock, 519-539-0004 on Friday July 16, 2021 from 2-4 and 6-8pm, where the memorial service to celebrate Mike’s life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 1:30 pm. Cremation has taken place. Visitors are asked to R.S.V.P. on the funeral home website to reserve their time for visiting or the service, spaces are limited. If desired, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer Society of Oxford County or the Woodstock Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
