Passed away peacefully on May 13, 2023 at 88 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Betty (2022). Loving father of Brad (Dee) and Larry (Deb) Vernooy. Dear Opa of Nicholaas and Victoria (Colin) and step Opa to Dennis (Joyce) and Shari

 (Alex). Great Opa to Benjamin. Dear brother of John (late Mary) (Nellie), late Corrie (Bill), Bill (Pat), Betsy (Terry), Joe (Joze), late Mary (Ted) (Annie), late Piet (Linda), late Anne and Harry, late Teresa and Jack, late Fr. Paul and late Jim and Cora. Nick will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents John and Cornelia (nee Blonk) Vernooy.

Visitation Wednesday May 17th from 4-7 pm. Funeral Service will be held at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home (845 Devonshire Ave.) on Thursday May 18, 2023 at 11 am. Cremation to follow.
