Petronella Nellie (Schuurmans) Bammens

BAMMENS- Petronella “Nellie” Passed away peacefully at Woodstock Hospital on Saturday May 23rd 2020.  Nellie Bammens (nee Schuurmans) of Woodstock in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Joahannes “Joe” Bammens (1995).  Loved mother of Helena “Hetty” (Jim) Hird.  Cherished Oma of Aaron (Jen), Ryan (Lacey) and Lainie (Chris).  Great Oma of Grace, Cole, Brooke and Tyler. Predeceased by her great grandson Jackson Hanlon. Nellie was the last surviving member of her own family.  A private burial will take place at the Oxford Centre Pioneer Cemetery.  If desired, contributions in Nellie’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and may be arranged through the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004.   Personal condolences may be sent at www.brockandvisser.com
