Richard Wayne Jupp

JUPP, Richard Wayne:   After a lingering illness Richard Wayne Jupp, age 74 passed away peacefully on Monday September 27th 2021 in Woodstock, Ontario.   Richard Wayne Jupp was born March 13, 1947 in Windsor, Ontario.  Loving father of John Jupp and his girlfriend Elizabeth of London, Yvette Pond and her husband Ronnie of Woodstock.  Cherished grandpa of  Samantha Jupp (Paul), Ashley Wesseler (Derek), Trey Pond and great grandfather of Emily, Jacob, Hudson and Clara.  Dear brother of Bonnie (Larry), Sharon, Sherry (Mike), Cammy (Calvin) and Gord (Joanne).  Predeceased by both his father and mother (2014).  Loved by so many nieces and nephews.  The sun set on Richard after a long battle of lung disease and Alzheimer’s.  He put down the best fight he could for his kids, and we will always be so grateful for him.   Richard was a devoted employee at Ford in St. Thomas for 35 years before retiring.  When Richard was not at work, you would find him on a golf course, always claiming a hole-in-one, or on the open water always claiming to have caught the big one.   Richard had a love for remote control helicopters from the smallest to biggest, old fashioned Mustangs, western movies and 8-tracks. 

Pain free now you may be, but please always come home at night, hug me and hold me tight, for this little girl will always need her daddy at night.

 Friends may call at the Brock and Visser Funeral Home, 845 Devonshire Avenue, Woodstock, ON. (519-539-0004), on Thursday September 30th 2021 from 2-3 pm.  A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 3:00 pm, with cremation to follow.  Please RSVP on the funeral home website for the visitation and service.  If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society, V.O.N.
